History

John Reiser and Bob Peisch formed Triton in 1975 as a boat lift manufacturer. Beginning in John’s garage, Triton grew quickly - soon moving into a plant in Allenton, Wisconsin in 1976. Although today’s focus is top quality aluminum trailers, John and Bob also manufactured storefront canopies, farm gates, wood-burning furnaces, and performed miscellaneous job shop work in the past.
By 1995, Triton had outgrown its Allenton facility and relocated to a 190,000 sq. ft. building in Hartford, Wisconsin. John retired and Triton continued to grow under the guidance of his daughter, Rochelle, and son-in-law, Tony Priesgen. In early 2013, Triton was purchased by Jacsten Holdings.
In November 2021, Triton Trailers was acquired by ALCOM LLC. Since 2006, ALCOM LLC has manufactured top quality, all-aluminum trailer solutions. The company’s portfolio exceeds 960 standard models across 9 brands. Combining an extensive dealer network with six production facilities throughout the United States, ALCOM offers the industry’s best lead times and deepest product catalog.  For additional information, please visit www.alcomusa.com.
